ATILA BIOSYSTEMS INC iAMP COVID-19 Detection Kit
The iAMP COVID-19 Detection Kit is a real-time reverse transcription isothermal amplification test. The test is based on a proprietary isothermal amplification technology termed OMEGA amplification (Patent: WO 2017/205510 A1; publication: The Journal of Molecular Diagnostics, Vol.22, No 3, 419-428, 2020). OMEGA primer sets are designed to specifically detect RNA and later cDNA from the N and ORF-1ab genes of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in nasal, nasopharyngeal and/or oropharyngeal swabs from patients with signs and symptoms of infection who are suspected of COVID-19. The iAMP COVID-19 assay’s key differentiator from current rRT-PCR COVID-19 assays is its ability to detect SARS-CoV-2 RNA directly from samples without prior RNA extraction process. Swab specimens are inserted directly into our 1X iAMP COVID-19 Sample Buffer Mix with a 15 min incubation at room temperature and can be directly used for OMEGA isothermal amplification and signal detection. Sample to result takes about 1 hour.

This pseudovirus is a BSL-1 baculovirus vector pseudotyped with Spike proteins, in this case the originally sequenced spike protein with the D614G mutation. Biologists and drug discovery teams can use this reagent to work on COVID-19 projects outside of BSL-3 facilities with standard safety procedures. Once inside the cell, the pseudovirus does not replicate, but delivers a genetically-encoded, fluorescent reporter that expresses bright green fluorescence in the host cell nucleus. If needed, cellular entry can be facilitated with ACE2 and other proteins packaged in BacMam and available from Montana Molecular. Larger sizes available upon request. This kit includes the pseudovirus and 500mM sodium butyrate in H2O.

Chickens were immunized with highly purified recombinant coronavirus nucleoprotein and the eggs were collected and delipidated. Antibody was immunoaffinity purified off a coronavirus nucleoprotein containing immunosorbent. Antibody concentration was determined using an absorbance at 280 nm: 1.32 equals 1.0 mg of IgY. This antibody reacts with coronavirus wild type and Omicron as determined by ELISA and western blot. This antibody may cross react with coronavirus from other species. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator.

The Human hepatitis B virus e antigen (HBeAg) ELISA kit is used for qualitative identification of HBeAg in human serum and plasma. It employs the qualitative enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate has been pre-coated with HBeAb. Samples or standards are pipetted into the wells with HRP-conjugated HBeAb. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, the TMB substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of HBeAg bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured by a microplate reader at 450 nm. It indicates the presence of HBeAg if the O.D. (optical density) of HBeAg is greater than or equal to the cutoff value (2.1× Average O.D. value of negative control). There is no HBeAg present in the sample if the O.D. is less than the cutoff value. One kit contains 96 wells.
